Duplomatic reducing valves comprise a main spool, the position of which is controlled by a spring working against a pilot pressure signal. As the system pressure downstream of the valve changes the main spool moves just enough to maintain the required reduced pressure setting. Typical applications are when a lower pressure is required than available from the main system.

Temperature
Oil temperature should be between +30ºC & +60ºC during normal operation. Oil life is greatly reduced if temperature exceeds 60ºC. As a general rule, oil life is halved for each 8ºC temperature exceeds 60ºC.
Filtering
It is necessary to keep the level of contamination within a hydraulic system at an acceptable level to ensure trouble free operation. Filtration should always be specified at a level that protects the most sensitive item or component in the system. |
