Cylinders

TIE-ROD HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS TO DIN STANDARDS

HC-2

Bores from 25mm -200mm

Pressures up to 210bar

Tie-rod construction cylinders use four outer rods to hold together the two ends of the cylinder. The rod end & head end also serve as ideal mounting points. Typical applications are when continuous operation is required, such as steel making, drilling rigs & injection moulding machines.

Temperature

Oil temperature should be between +30ºC & +60ºC during normal operation. Oil life is greatly reduced if temperature exceeds 60ºC. As a general rule, oil life is halved for each 8ºC temperature exceeds 60ºC.

Filtering

It is necessary to keep the level of contamination within a hydraulic system at an acceptable level to ensure trouble free operation. Filtration should always be specified at a level that protects the most sensitive item or component in the system.
