Flow Controls

FLOW DIVIDER COMBINERS PIPE LINE MOUNTED

FDC-60

Flows up to 70l/min

Pressures up to 310 bar

Webtec flow dividers comprise of two linked flow control spools that separate an input flow into two equal outputs by measuring the pressure drop through each section & thereby proportioning & maintaining equal flow to both sides. Valves will also work in reverse as a flow combining unit. Typical applications are for maintaining equal speeds to two separate actuators with different loads.

ADVANTAGES

PRESSURE COMPENSATED FLOW REGULATION

Valves will provide pressure compensated flow divided in the same ratio regardless of variations in load.

50 / 50 SPLIT OF INPUT FLOW

Units normally provide an equal 50 / 50 flow split but can also be used to combine two incoming flows into one.

CAST IRON CONSTRUCTION

Valves are of cast iron construction making them ideal for harsh environments.

BSP PIPE LINE MOUNTING

Units are supplied with 'in-line' BSP ports for ease of mounting.

Temperature

Oil temperature should be between +30ºC & +60ºC during normal operation. Oil life is greatly reduced if temperature exceeds 60ºC. As a general rule, oil life is halved for each 8ºC temperature exceeds 60ºC.

Filtering

It is necessary to keep the level of contamination within a hydraulic system at an acceptable level to ensure trouble free operation. Filtration should always be specified at a level that protects the most sensitive item or component in the system.
